About Centennial Nonprofit Consulting, LLC

Angela Schreffler (she/her) is the owner of Centennial Nonprofit Consulting, LLC and has worked in the nonprofit sector for over twenty years. Angela’s passion is in helping organizations achieve their goals and strives to do so in a collaborative, iterative, practical, and approachable way. She started working in the nonprofit sector immediately after graduating college by serving two years in the AmeriCorps program and can’t imagine a world in which she isn’t helping nonprofits thrive. Growing up in a lower-income family and having to rely on nonprofits as part of a support system, Angela understands the vital role nonprofits play in ensuring families have access to needed resources.

Prior to starting Centennial Nonprofit Consulting, LLC in early 2023, Angela spent 10 years as the Chief Operating Officer at Colorado Nonprofit Development Center, one of the leading fiscal sponsors in the country and a founder of the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors. In that role, Angela led two teams and coached hundreds of charitable organizations in fundraising, board development, strategic planning, business administration, financial management and planning, risk management, and operations. Angela initially led CNDC’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) work, resulting in the formation of CNDC’s first JEDI committee.

Prior to that position, Angela led several organizations including an environmental organization in Kansas City and Denver Regional Mobility and Access Council (DRMAC). During her tenure at DRMAC, Angela grew the staff from one to four, diversified the organization’s funding, and increased the organization’s national presence, particularly in its work around transportation for veterans. Angela currently serves on the board of directors of Chinook Fund after having participated in their Giving Project and serving on various committees. Angela has completed the Employers Council Executive Leadership program and has a Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management. She has also completed the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation’s Impact Denver program.

Angela’s experience is broad- she has worked with organizations in the Denver Metro area, as well as organizations across Colorado. Having grown up in rural Kansas and now living in rural Colorado, she understands the unique needs of rural nonprofits. She has experience working with organization across all stages of organizational development, as well as size of organization. Angela has lived in Colorado for fifteen years and currently resides in Bailey with her husband and cat. Angela enjoys gardening, hiking, and traveling.
