The Operations, Finance, & HR Virtual Support Group
The Operations, Finance, & HR Virtual Support Group is a peer-to-peer professionally facilitated group that meets once a month and brings operations, finance, and human resources professionals together to connect, share ideas, and co-manage organizational issues. This group is set in a confidential safe space where professionals can connect on their pain points, experiences, successes, and learn new ways of approaching the work. The group is agile, and each month is structured based on the group’s current needs. Previous meetings have included guest speakers, sharing personal stories, and providing support to each other. Members can be from one or all of the operations, finance, or human resources fields, and all experience levels and organizational size representations are welcome, but current members tend to wear multiple hats, have 5+ years of experience, and are from medium-size organizations.
The group consists of no more than 12 participants at a time and no more than one participant from an organization can join the group to ensure confidentiality and a safe space to share. Once the group is full, a wait list will be created.
The group currently meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 2:30-4:00 MST.
The cost to join is $125 per calendar year, and the cost is pro-rated based on the month you join. Typically, the nonprofit organization where the member works covers the cost.
